The Star Rain Evocation obliterated the encroaching demons by the thousands, but they continued to pour into the lands like water through a chasm. Queen Amaranthe was not able to stem the tide of the horde. And so, she was forced to gather her remaining people who had taken shelter in the citadel during the Starfall, and flee into Silvervale.

For eight days did the broken kingdom starve in those forests, until a lone hunter brought word to Queen Amaranthe of an ancient sorority of spellcasters that had taken sanctuary deep in the old growth of Silvervale.

The queen sought out this sorority, and sympathetic to her kingdom's plight, they demonstrated for her an ancient, cryptic form of magic, one that used the moon itself as a magical resonance. They would use the moon's light to burn the occupying demonic army, giving Queen Amaranthe's beleaguered army the leverage they needed to launch a counterattack...
